OR Timepieces is here to bridge the gap between luxury inspiration and real-world affordability. We don't hide from being a homage brand – our designs celebrate some of the greatest timepieces in history. But every OR watch is proudly handbuilt, branded and quality-tested in the UK.

Our founder, Oliver Richardson, has spent close to two decades playing around with watch movements, clock parts, and anything that seems to tick. After years spent customising and modding his own watches, it soon evolved from a hobby into a deep fascination with the craftsmanship, precision, and design that make mechanical watches so special. What began as curiosity—taking things apart just to see how they worked—slowly turned into a passion for wanting to create timepieces that tell their own story.

Driven by a desire to blend horology with the reality of being a university student, Oliver founded OR Timepieces to bring his vision to life: creating bespoke watches at an affordable price point, maintaining quality and that ever important hand assembled element. Each piece is carefully built using high-quality components from around the world, with meticulous attention to detail at every stage—from the assembly to the finishing touches that make each OR Timepiece unique.

An important aspect to maintain whilst starting the brand was authenticity and respect for the craft that inspired it. OR Timepieces was never created to imitate, but rather to celebrate the icons of watchmaking that have shaped generations of enthusiasts. Each watch is built capturing the essence, proportions, and character of the classics, while using movements and supplies that keep them at an accessible standpoint.
